I, myself, have been quite obsessed with losing weight for quite some time now simply because I want to get rid of my stubborn fat. Not that I hate them. I just think it’s time for them to be set free. It’s time for me to free me of my excess weight. I want a slimmer, healthier physique so that I would feel super comfortable being in my own skin.

Less weight equals higher self-esteem?  Well, I know a good number of people who became more confident after they dropped their respective flab. That is probably because it’s such an achievement shedding that unnecessary weight. It’s no easy work, that’s why.

One time I had to lose ten pounds in a week, believe me it is no easy task, my mom always use to say to me, prevention is better than a cure and this could not be more true when it comes to staying in shape. I mean stretch marks ewe!

Anyways, You know you always want to look your best when you go to a party, I got here some tips on how to slim down faster than ever. This one’s based on my personal experiences and on my own readings, as well as inputs from the people I know who are now enjoying their much sexier selves.

  1. Don’t starve yourself.

It’s the fastest way to lose weight, yes. But, it’s also the fastest way to die!  In your life, you’d need energy, and you’re getting such thing massively from your food intake. If you’re eating nothing, then you wouldn’t have enough vigor to do life. You know what I’m saying?  Never skip meals as it only makes your body want to eat more. Say, you’ve skipped breakfast and lunch. You’re most likely to eat a frighteningly heavy dinner, which would then be awfully hard for your tummy to take and digest. Think about it.

  1. Five small meals a day is better than three big ones.

I could attest to this, folks. Well, it’s nice to enjoy a regular breakfast-lunch-dinner set-up. But, it’s so much better if you take five small meals daily because this makes you want to eat less each time. There would be less bulge right there on your stomach area, which would absolutely make you happy at the end of the day.

  1. Cliché as it is, but eat healthy.

How many times do you need to be reminded about this?  Eat what’s good for your body, meaning lots of fruit and veggies. They got this thing called fiber, which hastens digestion, and which helps you lose weight faster than usual. Apart from them being a surefire flab extinguisher, they are healthy enough to make your body systems perform more efficiently. Instead of snacking on junk food, why not devour fruits or veggies during break time?  And, speaking of junk food…

  1. Say goodbye to junk.

If you’re really serious about losing weight, then you need to give up your love for junk. As if it does you good other than pleasuring your taste buds and your superfluous cravings!  Yes, junk—meaning fast food, chips, chocolate, and other similar stuff. Why junk food out of all things?  Because the calories and the fats they have are nearly impossible to lose. Some of those take a very long time before they decide to leave your body. Well, the good news is that you don’t actually have to totally sacrifice junk. You can have your cheat days, but just once a week please!  Don’t make everyday a cheat day because that’s just a dumb perspective. Okay?

  1. Get up and exercise regularly!

For christ sakes, who told you that you can lose that unnecessary flab if you’re just content lounging on your favorite couch or bed?  You need to move. You don’t even need to go to a nearby gym for you to be able to exercise. You can just be at home, so stop with your stupid excuses. Stretch your muscles, work them, and enjoy the results. If you sweat, you’re doing the right thing. Anyways, sweating is one of the best, most effective ways to lose weight. You’re burning calories and fats as you sweat. Isn’t that a great thing?  Of course, it is!

  1. You need to have discipline.

Preach!  Without it, your dream of achieving a healthier and sexier physique will just get burned to ashes. It will never happen. You need to have discipline to be able to stick to your rules. If one of the rules says you need to stop eating junk, be disciplined enough to not obsess yourself over junk ever again. With discipline, you can go places you thought you’d never reach.

  1. Do it for yourself.

Don’t lose weight because someone told you so. Lose weight because you want to, and it’s a decision that comes from your heart. If you’re doing something out of pressure, things usually don’t work quite well. Lose weight because you want to have a healthier lifestyle, and not because you want to impress others. Do it for you. Do it because you want to see and experience a better version of yourself.
